In order to maintain our leadership, we invest a lot of resources in our R&D department and we work closely with our customers to find the ideal technological solution. Each and every day, our 75 employees in the R&D department set tomorrow’s standards for packaging solutions - to inspire our customers and exceed their expectations.

One step ahead through research and development

To meet both our customers' needs and the social requirements for energy savings and sustainability, Theegarten-Pactec is constantly improving and expanding its product range. In this context, we focus on energy efficiency improvements, development of new packaging styles and the use of the latest technologies. This results in high quality packaging machines that repeatedly deliver through ecological manufacturing processes, energy efficient running times, convenient operation concepts and new wrapping types, as well as a wide range of product sizes.

Academic cooperation

Theegarten-Pactec has access to new scientific developments and perspectives through its close working relationship with scientific institutions.

Joint research projects, e.g. with the Institute for Processing Machines Mobile Work Machines at Dresden Technical University or the Fraunhofer Institute for Laser and Surface Technology, lead to important findings regarding the use of new materials and production processes.

Ultimately, this knowledge impacts the development of our resource-efficient machines providing unparalleled benefits to our customers.
